Endnotes are a type of citation method that is used in essays, research papers, and articles. Endnotes are different then a bibliography page. They will be used at the end of each individual page. The endnotes will tell the reader what source was used for a particular sentence or passage and where the reader can find more information about the topic.
To properly use endnotes, you must include a corresponding number at the end of the cited sentence. Then, at the bottom of the page, put the complete citation information for the source along with the corresponding number. This ensures the reader can use the source if they want to get more information. It also ensures you are not plagiarizing material that came from another source.
