Faa Form 8610 1: What Is It?

A FAA Form 8610-1 is also known as a Mechanic’s Application for Inspection Authorization. It is used by the Federal Aviation Administration under the United States Department of Transportation. This form will be used to ensure that the requirements to inspect aircraft have been completed fully so the mechanic can be authorized. A licensed mechanic must fill this out.

The mechanic filling out the form will need to include their personal information such as full name, contact information such as address, and the location where they work. They will also need to list their license information and state that they are allowed to complete an inspection according to FAA rules.
